Trial and error.

Only took a few minutes to get it fully charged.

And bobblehead is correct about Lithium-Ion batteries, which I did a little research on shortly after buying the MP3 player (it runs off a Li-Ion battery). I basically found the same thing.

Thanks for all the help. This thing is no bigger then a stack of three or four loonies, and weighs much less, impressive....
