Although I don't know who would be a good trading partner for the Flames regarding Kipper (Tampa?), maybe it will be Karlsson and Irving next year as the Flames goalies. Or, can they get a forward prospect equal to Irving's ability as a goalie?

Kipper will not be moved in favour of a Karlsson/Irving combo for next year. Irving has never played an NHL game and Karlsson is a rookie this year with a grand total of 6 games played. Not to take anything away from either player, but there is no reason to consider either as a replacement for Kipper any time soon. Not to mention that Kiprusoff would have to waive his no-movement clause.
