Nudity vs. Violence
This is borne of a discussion of sorts in the Hot Women Thread.
Why is something like the blood, guts, gore and violence such as the TV series Walking Dead, ok, but nudity on TV is not? Why is the general public so much more at ease with seeing someone killed as opposed to naked?
Now, I have a feeling that "think of the children!" would figure pretty quickly into this, and while I am not a parent myself (nor do my wife and I plan on having kids) I'd think that I'd rather have a child of mine see a naked person instead of one getting their head blown off.
It just seems rather odd to me, upon reflection, that society doesn't seem to have much of an issue with showing violent acts, but a naked body is, as was stated in the thread itself, verboten.
