The
Sharks are proud to announce the acquistion of Brian Rolston. In exchange the Himicanes will receive Mike Knuble and Brad Boyes.
The
Sharks are desperate to get some kind of production from their Powerplay and thus were forced to acquire some offense. Unfortunately, there was a stiff price to pay in the form of Boyes. While Knuble is a solid two way player the loss of Boyes was hard to accept. He will be a solid player in a very short time...However, nothing is free (well, Forsberg was!)so the decision was made despite doubts.
Rolston will be happily accepted by the players as his type of offense has been sorely missed. Stepping into the teams #1 line he will be counted on for better performance than he has shown so far this year.
Good luck to Mr. Boyes and Mr. Knuble, we wish them well but we feel that we got the best player in the deal and, in our opinion, whoever gets the best player wins the trade.
