It was nice, I got B's and had a lot of free time.

Getting B's, social skills, and 'personality' as you put it have always been things that have never been a challenge for me; I'm reasonably intelligent, very personable, and gregarious. What was challenging was finding something that I was interested enough in to put forth a somewhat serious effort and discover what I am capable of. Once I found that, the work wasn't difficult. I didn't stress about getting a 4.0; in fact I didn't think about it much, if at all, until last weekend when I realized it was in play. Even better, my social life didn't slip at all. If anything I was more social this semester than I ever have been.

I know a 4.0 means nothing once I'm out of school and looking for a job, but for me it wasn't about setting out to get that 4.0. It was more about finding something that I really enjoyed doing, challenging myself to do it well, and it just so happened these good grades are a fortunate byproduct of that.
What are your study habits like? Cause I can't manage to get past 3.4... ever.... lol
