Don't get me wrong, I like super teams (especially since I don't have a major rooting interest in anyone after the Expos left montreal) however, without a salary cap MLB mind as well just go to a English soccer type system with different tiers. how are the Royals going to compete with the Sox, Yankees, Phillies, Mets etc..
Landing one of Gonzalez or Crawford would be a huge get for any team and the Sox got them both.
