Regardless of how anybody pronounces anything, if you use the wrong word to name or denote an object or activity I will continue to either:
a) Question or correct you in efforts to stamp out stupidity and ignorance or
b) quietly write the person off as uneducated, ignorant or oblivious.
People judge you by what you say/type despite how you may feel about it.
