Things I find extremely annoying:
- You're in America, and you are having trouble finding guns and ammo? Really?

That's just lazy, crappy writing. Sure, I get that it can't be all about massacring the mobile dead, but forcing "drama" by intentionally gimping your protaganists for no logical reason is stupid.
Anyway, I'll watch next year, but it was no better than mediocre, and could have been so much better. They need characters that don't make you think they'd have trouble overcoming a rude waiter, never mind the zombie apocalypse.
These people are supposed to be survivors. The two cops, the hillbilly, and maybe the asian kid qualify; the rest of them should have been zombie fodder long ago.

LOL you hit the nail on the head, however, there is an "adjustment period" ,so wait until the bada$$ mofo's start to come out of the woodwork with these characters... It does happens soon in the timeline from the comics because it's a zombie world and people die because of their choices. If they keep to the storyline a bit more next season you should not be disappointed.
I have zero issue with the family issues and drama in the show. It's hard to imagine how one would react in such a scenario, but hopefully the fecal matter splatters on the fan like it does in the comic...
