I find I don't care about any of the characters except Rick. That's the biggest flaw in the show for me.

Things I find extremely annoying:

- You're in America, and you are having trouble finding guns and ammo? Really?
- Same with vehicles. There's millions of abandoned vehicles for the taking, and you can't find just one other motorhome instead of going into the city to get a new hose for your ramshackle piece of junk?

That's just lazy, crappy writing. Sure, I get that it can't be all about massacring the mobile dead, but forcing "drama" by intentionally gimping your protaganists for no logical reason is stupid.

Anyway, I'll watch next year, but it was no better than mediocre, and could have been so much better. They need characters that don't make you think they'd have trouble overcoming a rude waiter, never mind the zombie apocalypse.

These people are supposed to be survivors. The two cops, the hillbilly, and maybe the asian kid qualify; the rest of them should have been zombie fodder long ago.
