oh and just to you know we actually took that 20 minutes to go back to the Dressing room where Turco the GM and some other Senators players spent the time going over the trade the brought Turco to Ottawa in the first place. We all howled at the deal. Kerry Fraser even got in on the action. Turco let as all know how releaved he was to get away from his former GM.
He let it be known he had enjoyed his time as a Panther up until his GM of the time left the team. Turco was not happy with said unnamed Gm who does not seem to like toepicks........ He could never forgive said Gm for leaving the team and allowing the new GM Slyvfann come in.
Turco was quoted as saying "The guy is certifiable.. he hung around with the most unsavroy of people.. always betting against his team and would show up some days in a dress. you know just to keep it different. and for some strange reason he kept going on about wanting to wear some guy named Cheese' s swim suit. Not sure what thats about.".
Course the reason Turco did not play was a simple matter of scheduling.. Having played the night before and having another game tonight vs the Leafs followed by a game vs the Thrashers it was decided that Turco should get a rest. with *ahem* more important opponents coming up this was the most logical game to rest him.....
