Well the Isle saw a need and filled it - which is part of what trading is all about. He wanted a solid DF dman and got one. That's good
But there's no question value wise this is a poor trade.
This illustrates a point I was making back when people were upset about the lack of deals/activity. GMs that want to trade a lot are generally those that are good at it - so more trades means their team gets better.
But not every GM is like that. Some aren't as savvy on the trade front and as such need to take a more patient approach.
To boil it down - while we are all out to improve our teams unbalanced trades are a factor in slowing down trading activity. If you want to see more deals - then it isn't always necessary to pull off a huge win with every transactions. (and I say that as a GM that fully admits to bending fellow GMs over from time to time).
