Surprisingly there are quite a few hot cosplayers in Calgary and they come out just for these events. Sadly you do get the really greasy nerds in the flash costumes as well.

I went the year Tricia Helfer and Edward James Olmos was there... The autographs and pictures are not cheap... Our picture with cap Adama was $60+ IIRC. We tried to get him to wear a flames jersey for the picture but his handler wouldn't let us cuz he was pressed for time apparently.
Seriously those guests make so much off one convention its not funny. There were at least 300 if not more people lined up for pictures with him. $20000+ in pictures alone not counting autographs and whatever the convention paid them to come out here. $60 was so so not worth it for all of 30 seconds I got to talk to the guy and take one picture.
