Both of those guys were actually elite QB's though, despite their mechanical problems, at the college level. Rodgers played in a relatively traditional offense and had success, and Vick could throw the ball out of the stadium along with his world class speed. Tebow was great in the Florida offense, but he was rarely asked to make difficult throws downfield and his running prowess doesn't really translate to the NFL all that well. There's a lot more work to do with a guy like Tebow than there was with those two (in terms of arm issues at least). Fact is that most of the guys in the league don't want Tebow, not to say they aren't wrong, so the chips are definitely stacked against him.
