I've been thinking about getting new skates and I was also looking at getting Bauer Supremes or Vapours. I currently have an older pair of Bauer Supreme 1000 skates, and they've been good but the blade has been worn down so much. I used to take them to get sharpened at Sport Mart and I think they grinded the blade down too much each time. I've since changed places where I get them sharpened and the blade isn't wearing down too much, but I've heard that they don't always get a straight groove... so once again I've changed places, but I've got such small blades that its time to replace the blades or get new skates. I think I'd rather try some newer skates. Even though getting new blades is the cheaper route.
