I guess it depends on what it is you are looking for out of the show. I think it's fantastic that it has come to TV. I am a huge fan of the comics, and as I was reading them, I felt that they would make a good, gripping tv series. You'd need a few changes and tweaks (of course) but overall, I really liked the concept.

One of the things I found was that I was really starting to wonder about the title as the comic went on. At first, I assumed it meant the zombies, of course.

But as I got deeper and deeper into the series, I began to think that it really mean the main living characters. Without giving too much away, if you really think about it, the people they were are dead. They now have to make their lives go in a radically altered world where all the rules have changed.

That's what I find fascinating about this, and why I keep reading the comics. I hope that the tv series stays (mostly) true to this, and explores this aspect of humanity, instead of just 'giving up' and going with the 'rah rah shoot all the zombies in the head and win' crowd.
