I play a similar level of hockey and have also always worn Bauers. I don't know much about their new line up of skates, but I'd say go with the Vapors over the Supremes.
The vapors will be stiffer, so they won't feel good the first few times you wear them but they are a better performing skate. By the way, how much are the XXV's going for at Sportchek? and which websites have deals on the X:30's? It might be time for me to replace my XIV's
