Although I cannot prove your 80% statistic, I am very confident that the number of people that grew a stache and raised money is much higher than the number of people that changed their FB picture and raised money (or, by extension, same with the # of people that posted their bra color or the location of their purse).
However, as I posted earlier, I'm young, and I currently have no personal passion towards helping prostate cancer. Whether or not my lack of caring outside of Movember about prostate cancer is slacktivism is another story.

In terms of how much they help I would rank it: actual donating/volunteering etc > Movember type events > FB campaigns
