Back up tender Archie Irbe made 23 saves in his first game as a Jet. It looks as if Irbe will start again tomorrow against the greaseballs as DiPietro is still fatigued. The power play clicked twice tonight. Coach Twinkletoes played with a small roster today and it paid off.
Negatives:
Not much to complain about when you beat one of the top teams.

Archie Irbe for winning his first start as a Jet, at least for one more game, the Jets will rely on Archie stopping pucks.
