This is always a great thread. I'll take a few days and put together my list of my ten best hip hop albums of the year and post it here.
I love good hip hop, and I think that Kanye's production and music is by far some of the best I've heard, but I cannot stand his "rapping" at all. He has no pace, no structure, no discipline. I hear some of his lyrics and he's clearly trying to be like Jay-Z in my mind and he fails so hard.

By far the best hip hop album of the year in my mind though is Shad's Tsol. That album is out of this world.
