True but Glaus' career high in K's is 163 and that was his second full season. That was the year he hit 47HR. That was still only a 29% strike out rate. His highest strike total as a Jay was 134, plus he batted .252 and .262 with better on base numbers.
Reynolds would not really be that cheap, he has 2 years plus a team option for a 3rd with a $500k buyout. The salaries are $5M, $7.5M and the option is for $11M.
Like I said, if he has a line similar to '09, maybe, but I don't see this as worth the risk, especially considering that Arizona is asking for bullpen help, which is a position where we lack depth at right now.
