About two and a half years of playing very casually left me with a level 74 Hunter and a level 45 Paladin. I never joined a guild, never did a raid or battleground, and only went through one or two easy instances. Basically I played for a few hours on the odd weekend mornings.
I installed the game last weekend after about a 16 months of not playing. I kind of can't wait to get back into it, but after running my character around for about 20 minutes I was totally rusty and, well . . . lost.
Sometimes I wonder if there are other casual players out there. Perhaps WOW just isn't that kind of game . . . Whenever I mention to other people the progress I've made over such a long time, I am presented with utter disbelief.
Regardless, I look forward to my copy of Cataclysm arriving in the mail.
