So NCAA, follow your own rules here and not start bending them. This investigation isn't over with. Example would be Bama, they had players suspended in 02 for textbook violations and then the NCAA reinstated the players for the last two games. But later after investigation they were given sanctions.

Why did the NCAA move so fast? They said that if they uncover more evidence they can retro act a suspension. Really? I mean really?

To me this looks like the SEC and Mike Slive sold their soles to make sure we have another SEC team in the title game. (or the NCAA doesn't want TCU in the big game) but we will really see if the Tigers get some home cooking this saturday vs USCe.

the whole thing is brutally transparent and a really good example of who wields power within the NCAA.

The Reggie Bush incident took years to investigate and decide on penalties that are not reasonable when taking into account that none of the guilty parties are even associated with the school any longer...Cam Newton took 24 hours and is still an active part of Auburn. Their "penalty" amounted to Newton missing one practice.

Sad state of affairs.
