Color me surprised if this turns out to be true, although with potential labor unrest in the NFL maybe he wants a college job just to get back into the game.
I just dont see him being satisfied with the restrictions of the NCAA though. This guy eats and breathes football, and in college he can only spend 20 hours a week actually coaching his players. In the NFL I would guess he spends that much or more with just a QB....after team meetings and practices. The rest of the time is spent recruiting, getting ready for recruiting and all the other stuff. In the NFL its football 24/7.
If he does go to South Florida though, I have no doubt he will do well.
