IMO it will boil down to a showdown between Dexter and Robocop, and Lumen will be the one to save Dexter. next season is all but guaranteed to be the finale, so i think they continue to explore Dexter teaching Lumen the code (just like how he does in the books with his kids) and she'll be the one to carry on his work after his inevitable demise

I agree. Rita stuck around for a couple years. So I think Lumen will as well.
