I agree on both points, but they kind of cancel each other out.
If these veterans accept then our bullpen is likely strong (Frasor has not been a below-replacement-level player for the past seven years (WAR > 0)), but if they decline we can expect a great draft.
I also hope they decline especially Gregg, and want to see Purcey closing next year.
What are people expecting from Lind next year? Full time DH or 1B?
Platoon DH/1B/LF?
If he gets back his stroke I'm fine with him as a DH if we can add some defense and OBP with a new left fielder. I'm worried that Lind as a full-time first baseman will be a downgrade from Overbay in too many areas - defense, walks, pitches per at-bat - without enough of a power upgrade.
