I searched for this topic and there is a thread, but it's two years old. I figure things are probably different now. I'm not too familiar with either, but they seem pretty similar. Both have holiday bundle deals at the moment that are pretty comparable.

Xbox 360 - $250
250GB hard drive
Forza Motorsports 3
Alan Wake

Playstation 3 - $300
160GB hard drive
NHL 11
Infamous

I'm primary interested in using it as a gaming device. I have an Apple TV and a Blu-ray player that can cover the media end of things. I don't know if there is one particular game that would sway me to either console. I like both Halo and Gran Turismo, but I am not totally familiar with either catalogue. Playstation move doesn't look particularly interesting. Kinect looks interesting, but I don't know if I would ever use it. I think I prefer the Xbox controller over the Playstations. The Xbox is cheaper, but the multi-player has a cost to it. Anything I should to know to help sway my opinion one way or the other?
