I am a fan of realism, but in a way I miss the old way of trading. I liked taking a sh** team and building them up. I'm doing a Be a GM with the Islanders right now and it's painful to try and make a trade. Even when I eventually find the right fit, there is a number of roadblocks that could screw me over.
One thing that does bother me is that if you want to pick up a free agent he considers it for two days, THEN he rejects your offer because you have too many players. Couldn't have done that before taking the two days I suppose. Because the trading is so difficult getting rid of players is also a bit of a headache.
I understand the need for realism but I'm starting to feel like I need a capologist just to play the f'n game.
