As poor a total as England's first innings was (probably 100 short of a decent total), Australia's batting lineup is just not what it used to be. Clarke, Hussey and Ponting aside, not convinced with regard to North, Haddin, Katich, Watson.

This is why they play the game over 5 days - swings and roundabouts.
