No, you need to buy the hard-drive. Microsoft being the **** they are won't allow this. Unless you buy 32GB flash drives you can't use a external hard-drive or anything, only USB sticks, and I don't even think you can use the really large ones (like the 32GB).

Edit: The biggest stick you can use is 16GB. You can use it to save profiles, etc.
