For us, the heating system was not considered to be inside. We had hot water baseboard radiators though.

We had a slow drip at the control valve in our bedroom that dripped enough water onto the carpet behind a dresser to literally grow mushrooms on the carpet and mold on the drywall but not enough to soak out past the dresser where we could see any moisture. It dripped for over a month.

The repair and service costs were taken care of by the condo board for the heating system but the mold and water damaged were taken care of by me.
