GIGUERE STEALS WIN FOR SABRES
Second half of two game tilt goes today
The Buffalo Sabres won one they maybe shouldn't have, 4-3 despite being quite badly outshot. JS Giguere who has been on and off the IR returned from a one game injury with a solid performance. His status for the Sabres next several games remains up in the air.
Sabres continue to juggle their lines. Since the Eric Daze injury a number of players have auditioned for the 6th top 6 forward spot. Kip Miller got his first shot on the 2nd line yesterday and responded with an unassisted tally. He will play there again today. Ruslan Fedotenko responded in his promotion to the first line as the games second star.
Sabres are playing .600 hockey and remain in playoff contention.
