Name one thing in the last 20 years as important as WWII, nazis, hitler, the holocaust etc.
Can't do it because there isn't anything. That is why I think Godwin's law is stupid. Especially since since it is always in a pejorative sense. People naturally bring it up. There is no big discovery that Godwin made.
If anything Godwin's Law is a self fulfilling prophecy. It became popularized and actually made Nazis etc brought up more.
