Here's the choice if you are Bud Adams. Lose VY for almost nothing even though you think he still can be your franchise qb (unless he's lying), or trade the rights to Fisher, someone who you have had disagreements with, for a 1st or 2nd rounder and hire someone who can run an offense or who will hire a OC that is better suited to having Young as your franchise QB.

Young is 30-17 as a starter. How many times did Manning get benched in his first few years? 0. Just look at the Jets with Mark Sanchez. Ryan has stood by him through thick and thin and Sanchez is better for it. When Sanchez put up 0 pts against the Packers did he get benched? No, then he came out and had 3 of his best games ever. Fisher has never shown any confidence in Young from the moment he was drafted and that hurts a QBs confidence.

I dont believe you can trade "rights" to a coach, in fact i am sure of it. he either works for you or you fire him and pay him.

Beyond all that though...this is more about VY's instability and his very apparent inability to handle adversity or poor situations. His history is says he cant and last weeks actions tell you he simply has hasnt grown up enough to do so, and at this point probably never will., and that is not who you want running your team as a leader. It is a recipe for disaster.

You are right about Sanchez, he faced adversity was able to deal with it without resorting to juvenille tactics and has done what was expected of professionals. Thats why ryan stuck with him. He is strong mentally and always has been. Young? Not so much.

Put it this way I guess...who do you trust more in football decisions?

Jeff Fisher who has been a head coach for 16 years, played in the NFL and has seen it all as far as players etc, or 87 year old Bud Adams whose eccentricity is part of his calling card but never had a bit of football background before buying his way into a fledgling league after making a fortune in petroleum?
