This is one of the craptacular things about the Blackberry that drives me insane and makes me wonder why ANYONE bothers with them.
The installer knows there isn't enough space. BB Desktop knows what apps are installed on the device. Is it FREAKING ROCKET SCIENCE that the installer couldn't back up the apps, remove them to make the neccessary space, do the upgrade, and put the apps back on?
Why do I have to sit there manually inspecting a list of apps on the BB and deciding which ones to delete to free up enough space to do an upgrade?
It's like it's 1991 and 3.5" floppy disks all over again.
Sheesh
