Well it could be worse - they could be like Saskatchewan and Pilsner.

Pilsner was first brewed in Lethbridge (under the name Alberta Pride no less) and is now owned by Molson and brewed in Edmonton and Vancouver.

The beer literally has no history in Saskatchewan, but somehow an entire province has bought into the marketing scheme that it's a local product and guzzles it by the litre.
