I for one think Philly is a solid team and should be in the conversation. I don't think there is 1 team this year who is heads and shoulders above anyone. If SD wins their division, I think anybody from the 6 in the AFC have a chance to get to the Superbowl from that side. The only team who I don't think has a shot is the winner of the NFC West. They are hooped IMO and will be out in the 1st round.

In terms of top AFC teams vs top NFC teams.....it depends who it is on a matchup vs matchup scenario. I think the games would be close if you take the top 4 from each side.
