For a company that you typically hear has great customer satisfaction and customer service, this is just one more black eye on their rapidly growing list. I'm only able to have 2 black eyes, how many are consumers going to allow Apple to have?

However it has always been within Apple's paradigm to have consumers upgrade to a refresh every few years. It shouldn't be surprising that they are not supporting older tech.
