You make it sound as if it is hard to keep an uncircumsized penis clean, which is pretty far from the truth as long as you know how to use a bar of soap.
As for it looking better...well, I guess that is your opinion. If that is the only reason though, why not let them be the judge? It isn't something you can just take back once you do it. If they truly agree with you and want to "look like that" then hey, nobody here would criticize them, it is their choice.
