IMO Self checkouts at stores, self checkins at the airport, automated operator bia$$h with cell providers are all a big pain in the a$$.
I consider myself technically savvy but nearly half the time I attempt to use these "modern conveniences" I wind up either getting ticked off, or having to get assistance from a real person.
What is wrong with hiring real people to deal with people? Especially the outfits that are using these things. These big corperations are not going to go under for the sake of slightly increased payroll.
