Noticed I was overcharged by a local restaurant. The amount put through on the bill is $5 over what I authorized. I've disputed the charge with the bank and assume they will credit me the difference.
Does anyone know if the bank circles back with the vendor? Since the amount is so small, perhaps the bank takes the hit and just credits the customer.
Nevertheless, the restaurant manager will be getting a phone call from me. I hate jumping to conclusions, but I'm going to guess the server wanted to tack on a little extra hoping the customer wouldn't notice. And yes, the tip I left was very sufficient! This happen to anyone else lately?
Guess the moral of the story is to check your dining reciepts people.
Next time, don't go to Osteria!
