I've recently signed the following credit card transaction:

Total meal: $33.44
Tip: $5.56
Total: $49.00

Although it was totally my error, I wish you well; the server may have intended to do it, or perhaps it was just an error...either way, I'd check myself just for correctness' sake.

On a related note, it took me 4 months to get a refund for a $40 meal that I got charged $69.49 for...Turns out the server had put through the transaction ID instead of the total bill amount after the fact. Due to the fight I had to put up with the manager; I never did go back to Ginza Sushi at Chinook mall. Good luck!
