Well, I usually go cheaper than that myself...
I find most in-ear models to be uncomfortable. Hence, I like the AKG K26P headphones. Awesome portable size, super comfortable, and they seal out noise really well. Also, the sound quality is amazing for the price. I love using mine for travelling. I think AXE Music sells them in town.
Another option is some of Grado's entry offerings, like the SR60 or SR80i (I want to own these after I demoed the SR60!). Most of Grado's heaphones are "open", so they do not seal out outside noise. The sound quality will blow your mind, however! You probably will be better off getting those online from the States. The Canadian prices on Grado headphones I have found to be inflated.
