Well I'm sure that my design won't win any medals for innovation! I bought the aforementioned 2x12s. I then pieced them together with some steel brackets (about $1.50 each IIRC) on each side. I put those together with about 4-5 screws at each joint. Then the corners I just screwed together with 4" screws. Made this giant box, staked it and lined it with plastic.
Its far from an engineering feat! Its just really simple and worked well for me last year. To make it fancier I put some rope lights and christmas lights along the edges and then a few spotlights around it. Voila!
I can try to take a few pics if you think that would help? Honestly I did this the easiest way I could think of though...
