Going back to Wing Commander three, the last mission was dropping the Temblor bomb on Kilrah, and the flight to get there was long and tough and you had to beat Thrakath and Hobbes before you could do the first death star type bombing run.

So I got to the last phase and saw a Kilrathi cruiser and in typical agressive fashion decided to kill it, so without looking down I hit the missile select button so I could throw a heat seaker at it. I passed over, got lock, it seemed to take a while, and fired the missile and watched in horror as my ultimate weapon blew up the cruiser thus dooming humanity.
