Default Slimy Turkey - is there a doctor in the house?

Yesterday, I opened a sealed bag of Turkey deli meat that wasn't to expire until December 13th.

I noticed it was somewhat slimy. It had a wierd clear glycogen like mucus all over it. It wasn't off color and it didn't have any abnormal smell.

I stupidly ate it. Did I just food-poison myself or something? I've been reading up on common poulty food spoiling and can't find any reference to a clear sliminess related to such things like Salmonella, etc.

I'm worried I'm in the incubation stage of something and I'm going to be very sick or something when I wake up tomorrow. I felt a little nauseous this morning but I seem to be fine now. My lips are really dry for some reason though. Dehydration symptoms? Or am I just being paranoid?
