Hi Vena,
I buy at least 1 voucher a day from these daily deals sites and have used a lot of them and I have never had any issues. You have nothing to worry about. If you're not happy with your purchase, all of these sites will give you a refund.
The last time that I counted, there was over 40 daily group buying sites in Canada. The 5 that I feature on my blog are sites that I buy from regularly and based of my research are the largest and most successful.
DealFind and Groupon are my favorites. Groupon is by far the largest of the bunch. They are close to half a billion dollars in revenue and Forbes named them the fastest growing company ever:
