Huh? I dont care that Utah won or lost or anything else. They are obviously a team that shouldnt of been ranked where they were, much like Texas....thats the systems fault and has nothing to do with me. Sort of the whole point actually.
They couldn't of finished #3 without at least 2 teams ahead of them losing as well. regardless of that...its quite possible that 2 undefeated teams will not get a chance as it is. Now I dont know about you, but there is no way for me to know who would win and who wouldnt on the field without seeing them play each other. I have no idea how a bunch of voters and a computer can know either. I dont have a dog in this fight in any case, so any claim of "bias" is ridiculous. I would like to see the players decide who is best, not sure why so many have a problem with that.
'Right now', no one will convince me that Boise St. shouldn't be a shoe-in for the NC game. Of course I can say the same about Auburn and Oregon as well, TCU i am not sold on after the last two weeks. I believe that Auburn will lose to either or maybe both of Alabama and SC, so now what? One loss LSU should get in even though they cant win their own division nevermind their own conference?
There is going to be chaos at the end of it all by the looks of things, which I will sit back and watch the car wreck and laugh at those who continue to deny there is any problems and that a playoff is impossible...even though the governing body already has a playoff system for other teams. Its awesome entertainment.

No it hasn't. Lots of ideas from the land of make believe have been presented, but not one plan that contemplates the realities of the interests involved has been brought forward. None.
And how can you say Boise is a shoe in for the NC game but not TCU? What's that based upon? BSU has one win over a team that is anywhere near being an elite team, and that team lost to an FCS team the following week. There are 5-6 teams on each of Oregon and Auburn's resumes that are just as good, if not better, than Va Tech (especially the half assed version of Va Tech that showed up the first part of this year). Those 2 teams are head and shoulders above Boise when it comes down to what they have actually done on the field. It's not even close.
