Can anyone explain to me why the Giants are getting so much love right now? Nicks and Bradshaw have been great, but that offensive line is still suspect and Eli still throws way too many picks. The team has looked good for the last few weeks, but look at their schedule this year:

@ Carolina (1-7) W 31-18
@ Indy (5-3) L 38-14
vs. Tennessee (5-3) L 29-10
vs. Chicago (5-3) W 17-3
@ Houston (4-4) W 34-10
vs. Detroit (2-6) W 28-20
@ Dallas (1-7) W 41-35
@ Seattle (4-4) W 41-7

Their opponents have a combined record of 27-37. The teams they've beaten have a combined record of 17-31. The only team they've beaten with a winning record are the awful Chicago Bears.

And that "vaunted defense," has only managed to allow less than 20 points once against offenses that are ranked in the top-20 in scoring. Meanwhile, the only times New York's offense has put up more than 20 points in a game is when they've been playing defenses ranked 18th or lower in the NFL.

The Giants have also turned the ball over 22 times this season, ranking behind only Arizona and Carolina, with their turnover differential being -3 (7th in the league). Besides the Bears, they're the biggest frauds in the NFC.
