This is pretty simple to follow.

people wondered IF that SHOULD have been PI...it was all over talk radio and TV this morning.

By the rule itself....you simply are not allowed to push off to gain seperation.

White admitted he pushed off. That means the rule was broken. Period.

hence, and this is the tricky part I understand, he committed a penalty regardless of whether it was called or not, meaning yes it should have been called.

I have said nothing else different no matter how many times you and others want to bleat about it.

If the referee decided not to call even after seeing it, he was wrong in doing so. If he didnt see it, so be it, happens all the time in football.

But nowhere from the second i posted the guy ADMITTING he broke the rule have i suggested it is black and white or anything else. Only that it is now clear that the foul did happen.

What part of all that are you whining about?
Wow, just wow.

You know there is contact between the WR and CB's about 90% of the time, going back and forth, right?

The rules in most professional sports are not typically called by the letter of the law. And there is always a grey area.

So if the DB was trying to grab him and he pushed his hands away, then by the letter of the law, it's a penalty. Now in my opinion, that will never be called because it's the usual back and forth that goes on between a receiver and a corner.

I just thought you would have realized there is a grey area between the letter of the law and the way it was called.
