This is pretty simple to follow.
people wondered IF that SHOULD have been PI...it was all over talk radio and TV this morning.
By the rule itself....you simply are not allowed to push off to gain seperation.
White admitted he pushed off. That means the rule was broken. Period.
hence, and this is the tricky part I understand, he committed a penalty regardless of whether it was called or not, meaning yes it should have been called.
I have said nothing else different no matter how many times you and others want to bleat about it.
If the referee decided not to call even after seeing it, he was wrong in doing so. If he didnt see it, so be it, happens all the time in football.
But nowhere from the second i posted the guy ADMITTING he broke the rule have i suggested it is black and white or anything else. Only that it is now clear that the foul did happen.
